The much anticipated London Fashion Week will include the House of iKons Digital Fashion Show which is free to the public. You won’t want to miss this show! 

House of iKons Fashion Week London live shows have pulled in over 1,000 people per day in attendance, with private clients, buyers, department stores, and boutiques, also in attendance, high-net-worth guests. On September 19th, the show will be offered on their digital platform. 

Their designers have platformed worldwide and worked with celebrities such as Jlo, Katy Perry, Michelle Obama, Beyoncé, and many more which can be seen on their social media and various press. Designers have also been selected from the shows to be wardrobe designs for feature films.

The House of iKons is spearheading its designers as the next big icons. What do you look for in a designer? What can designers expect while working with you?

We look for potential market leaders, originality. Some creatives may feel it’s the ‘safe’ option to recreate a collection with their twist already in the market, which is NOT what we are looking for. With discussions with our designers and creatives, they want to bring their work of art to life on the runway. We try to educate them to bring their essence of who they are and produce a collection. Most fashion houses and platforms do not give that attention to their designers or creatives. We want to make sure when they are working with us, it’s a long term relationship of understanding and support. The most important thing for House of iKons is also to understand the individual designer and their creative process, which is something we take great pride and care about.

 What trends are you seeing in fashion? Who would you like to work with?

The emerging designers that we have had the pleasure to work with and work with at present, are all so different and creating their own trends. From ready to wear to couture. These designs cannot be seen in normal high street stores, which I personally think is a great thing and gives these iKonic brands that exclusivity. I would like to start working with fashion design students and help them, not just with their creativity and branding, but to motivate and in-still confidence in them. This industry can be harsh, and I would like to give them the tools to manage this.
